A court has approved Apple's settlement with developers in a class action lawsuit related to commissions on the App Store. The total amount of the settlement will be $100 million.

In April 2019, the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California in San Jose received a class action lawsuit from iOS developers who were dissatisfied with too high a commission on the App Store. Some time later, the company lowered the commission to 15 percent for small developers who earn less than a million a year on the App Store, and in August 2021 it agreed to settle the lawsuit.
