Apple is facing a new $1bn class action lawsuit in the UK. More than 1.5 thousand app developers have filed a lawsuit accusing the corporation of charging excessive fees and abusing its monopoly on the distribution of software for iPhone and iPad.

Apple's services business, including App Store fees, has grown to about $20bn per quarter in recent years. However, the 15-30% fee has repeatedly drawn criticism from app developers. EU, UK and US regulators are also investigating Apple's involvement in anti-competitive practices related to the App Store.
