CNET tested artificial intelligence in writing articles. In the end, edits had to be made to 41 out of 77 articles.

Journalists were not satisfied with articles with the headlines "What is compound interest?", "How much should you keep on your CD?", "Does a home equity loan affect private mortgage insurance?" and others. Some submissions had to be changed because of suspected plagiarism.

Usually the algorithm detected incorrect citations, but in these cases editors had to be involved. There were also typos, such as incomplete company names, and inaccuracies in the articles.
