A court in London has accepted a lawsuit from Craig Wright against the developers of software for three cryptocurrency blockchain networks.

The plaintiff is demanding 15 programmers to return him access to 111,000 bitcoins worth about $2.6 billion, which he allegedly does not have access to because he lost the keys to the wallets. In his opinion, blockchain developers for the bitcoin network should have provided a mechanism to return access to the wallets if the keys were lost.

Judge Colin Birss, the judge assigned to the case, believes that centralised network software developers could implement code to transfer bitcoins in such cases to a secure location before the owner is identified.
