Dell has officially presented the Alienware x16 laptop, which is positioned as "the most premium gaming laptop in the world". The top version uses the Intel Core i9-13900HK processor and NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4090 175W graphics adapter, while the thickness of the case is 18.6 millimeters and the weight is 2.72 kilograms. The base configuration uses Intel Core i7-13620H and NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4050 graphics adapter.

The model uses a 16-inch screen, there are three options to choose from. The first offers a panel with a resolution of QuadHD+ and a refresh rate of 165 Hz, the second - QuadHD+ with a refresh rate of 240 Hz, and the third - FullHD+ with a refresh rate of 480 Hz. In all cases, Dolby Vision HDR and NVIDIA G-Sync are supported, there is 100 percent DCI-P3 coverage and a response time of 3 milliseconds. On top of the display is an infrared camera and a FullHD webcam - together they provide authentication with Windows Hello.

The company separately mentions cooling - all versions use the Element 31 system with gallium and silicone, and older versions have an evaporation chamber. The amount of RAM in the Dell Alienware x16 is up to 32 GB LPPDR5-6000 (for configuration with Intel Core i9-13900HK), the total capacity of the PCIe SSD is up to 4 TB.

Among other features, you should pay attention to the possibility of choosing between low-profile keyboards: Alien X Series, or mechanical ultra-low CherryMX (in both cases, each key has a proprietary AlienFX RGB backlight). In addition, you can choose between Intel Killer Wi-Fi 6E and AX1690 adapters with Bluetooth 5.3 support. All models have Dolby Atmos certification.

The cost of Alienware x16 in the first quarter of this year starts at $ 3099, the base configuration, which starts at $ 2149, will go on sale later this year. The company also said that in the second quarter of this year it is planned to present Alienware x16 with AMD Ryzen processors.
