Hankins’ journey from foster care to a fulfilling life is a testament to overcoming challenges. Entering the foster system at just two months old and experiencing life in twelve different homes by the age of eight, Hankins found solace and stability in education. This pivotal transformation led him to become an advocate for resilience and personal empowerment.
Three Days of Motivation and Community Connection
The three-day event, starting on Monday, March 31st, will feature immersive sessions with both students and staff at Trinity. Through both large and small group activities, Hankins will share strategies to embrace resilience, not only on a personal level but also within teams and organizations. These experiences aim to instill hope and drive a shift in perspective.
Community Night – A Gathering of Spirits
To cap off the motivational journey, a Community Night at Trinity High School’s Gymnasium promises an evening of high energy and inspiration, featuring the vivacious collaboration of Hankins and DJ Johnson, a well-regarded school counselor. The event opens its doors at 5:30 pm with provisions for up to 250 guests, including local community members, educational partners, leaders, students, and parents. It’s an opportunity not just for learning but for building communal strength.
