Epic Games has summarized the results of 2022 for the Epic Games Store. Last year, the service introduced user ratings and polls, improved search and library view, and parental control options. Cross-platform tools for PCs were added to Epic Online Services.

According to statistics, the number of users of the service has already reached 230 million, which is 36 million more than in 2021. The number of daily active users reached 34.3 million at its peak, and 68 million monthly users.

In 2022, publishers and developers added 626 new PC games and apps to the Epic Games Store, bringing the total number to 1,548. This is more than in any previous year. Service users spent $355 million on third-party games, up 18% year-on-year. Taking into account Epic's own games, users spent $820 million on the service, which is 2% less than in 2021.

During the year, 99 games with a total value of $2,240 were given away in the Epic Games Store. Gamers downloaded more than 700 million copies of games, which helped to attract a new audience.

In 2023, the developers promise to improve the performance of the launcher and integrate subscription services of third-party publishers. Free giveaways will be continued.
