The Figma team has published the FigmaScript plugin. It is a simple javasript editor for writing scripts with the Figma API. The plugin is written based on the Ace library.

The main features of the plugin is simplicity and expansion of the editor window to a normal size.

Plans are also to create in the plugin a set of tutorials on API Figma and implement a Python interpreter.
