Cybersecurity experts at Check Point Research found that hackers are using ChatGPT to write malicious code and phishing emails. And some of them have little or no programming experience.

Specialists also tried to use ChatGPT to write malicious code and the neural network was up to the task. The chat bot composed a phishing email and wrote a malicious VBA macro.

The researchers then used the Codex tool to develop other types of malware, including a reverse shell and scripts to scan ports, detect sandboxes and compile their Python code into a Windows executable.
