Google, Apple and Mozilla...
Have agreed to jointly develop a new tool to test browser speed. The project is called Speedometer 3, it should help evaluate the performance of browsers from different perspectives.
The new system should simulate the user's normal actions, which will allow to accurately evaluate the quality of the browser. At the moment, the project has just begun, so it is not recommended to use it for tests yet. In fact, among other things, Speedometer 3, is still unstable.
Judging by the description on GitHub, the new test package will be able to check the performance of browser engines, WebKit, Quantum and Blink, as well as JS engines Google V8 and Mozilla SpiderMonkey.
