Google will prioritize original and authentic reviews over recycled information that goes through aggregator sites.

According to Google spokesperson Jennifer Kutz, a global search ranking update called "Useful Content Update" will begin rolling out globally to English-speaking users on Monday, August 22.

Search results for many popular gadgets show that people are trying to avoid aggregator reviews in favor of Reddit recommendations. The Brave web browser, for example, has already released a new feature that boosts Reddit and Stack Exchange content in the search results. It can be found in the "Discussions" section.
