The bug has affected users of iOS 16, iOS 16.1, iOS 16.1.1 and iOS 16.2 betas. iPadOS users with similar version numbers have also complained about the browser. Apple has not commented on the bug, but many users said they contacted tech support and told about Safari's strange behavior.
