Microsoft has announced that it will stop supporting its .NET integrated development environment (IDE) designed specifically for the Mac. The Visual Studio for Mac project will stop receiving updates after 31 August 2024. Until then, Microsoft will publish security updates and patches to support the Visual Studio for Mac IDE version 17.6.
