Microsoft now refuses to provide WSL as an optional component of the operating system. Placing the subsystem in the store will allow users to receive updates faster.

In addition, on request, all Windows 10 users will be able to use Linux apps with a graphical interface after upgrading to the latest version of the Microsoft Store.
