Microsoft has begun testing the Microsoft Edge Secure VPN service built into the Edge browser.

The service supports Cloudflare, whose server capacity is used to build a data network.

The built-in VPN hides the user's IP address, encrypts the user's traffic and transmits requests through a separate isolated network. However, the user has no option to select a server in another country to bypass location-based blocking. All traffic is automatically routed through the closest Cloudflare servers.
