Quantum computing developer IonQ has made the first commercially available IonQ Aria computer available to the service.

The head of IonQ stated that the availability of their IonQ Aria and IonQ Harmony quantum systems in Azure Quantum gives enterprise customers and research institutions a choice between similar systems better suited for specific tasks.

According to the developers, Aria is the best publicly announced quantum computer in the world with an #AQ (Algorithmic Qubit) score of 23. The higher the #AQ, the faster the computer can provide quantum simulations and algorithms compared to the previous generation of quantum computers.
