Platforma, a developer of bigdata solutions for business, together with DMP-platform AmberData piloted the conversion of cookies into mobile device identifiers (MAIDs).
The developers argue that using this technology will provide stability to the advertising market after Chrome abolishes cookies in 2024 and will further leverage previous knowledge about audiences stored with cookies.
The conversion of cookies to MAID is a new step in Platforma's consistent effort to build a stable identifier in the marketplace, possibly replacing the exiting third-party cookie identifier synchronization technology.
