Purdue University Northwest’s College of Technology has marked a significant milestone with the award of over $3 million from the U.S. Department of Defense to enhance its educational programs in artificial intelligence (AI) and cybersecurity. Empowering the Future Workforce
The majority of this grant will fund PNW’s Center for Cybersecurity, facilitating AI-cybersecurity certification training targeted at various transitioning professionals. These include military personnel, first responders, government employees, and other adult trainees who are seeking to fortify their cybersecurity skills. Scholarships Fueling STEM Aspirations
An additional $375,000 grant renews the Cyber Service Academy scholarship for eligible juniors, seniors, and graduate students. This scholarship, covering tuition and more, provides specialized tracks including AI literacy and digital forensics, which are increasingly pivotal in today’s technology-driven world.
