Phylum security researchers discovered more than 451 packages in the Python Package Index (PyPI) that are infected with "clipper" malware.

Clippers replace the victim's clipboard contents with something that benefits the attacker.  Today, the most common clippers look for cryptocurrency addresses and modify them to steal funds.
