The Raspberry Pi camera lineup has been updated with four versions of the Raspberry Pi Camera Module 3. All modules are based on a 12-megapixel Sony IMX708 sensor that supports high dynamic range performance.
The cameras are equipped with an autofocus system using phase detection, which allows you to focus on objects within 5 centimeters. The cameras can also record HD video.
