Representatives of Godot in the official blog said that since August 3, freeze development of new features the engine and plan to concentrate on improving performance and bug fixes.
In this way the company will prepare for the release of the beta version of Godot 4.0.
Developers have also been warned that this is not a call to start redesigning. If the feature is not yet ready, it should continue development as it is, and the finished version should be offered for inclusion in the next upcoming version.
Along with this, the Godot team will consider the quality and necessity of all features already proposed. Compatible or minor suggestions will automatically be moved.
