Retro Pod

The Retro Pod audio player app, which mimicked the interface and features of the iPod Classic, has disappeared from the App Store after a surge in popularity in December 2022. Experts believe that Apple removed the app because it copied the features and design of the iPod.

This is not the first such case. In 2019, Apple removed the Rewound app, which used an iPod design. Web users noted that if such apps are banned by the site's rules, then Apple should remove them during the moderation process.
