Experts say that if the claim turns out to be true, it would be one of the largest data breaches in history.

An anonymous user under the nickname ChinaDan on the hacker forum Breach Forums offered to buy more than 23 TB of data for 10 bitcoins, which at the current exchange rate is about $200 thousand. The hacker reports that in 2022 there was a leak of data from the Shanghai National Police. This library contains personal information about one billion people in China.
