Developers have released Slint 1.0, a framework for creating cross-platform desktop applications. The framework aims for scalability and maximum compatibility across platforms.

The Slint framework's blog said that development of the tool has finished after three years, and developers can start building their own applications. Slint is written in Rust and supports development on Windows, macOS and Linux. API support for Rust, C++ and JavaScript is announced.
