Telegram will have a new useful feature
A new Stories feature will soon appear in the Telegram messenger. This was announced by the company's CEO Pavel Durov.
The Stories feature is currently in the final stages of testing and will be available in early July. This feature will allow you to specify who can see the story. It will also be possible to choose the period of time for displaying the story - from 6 hours to permanently.
"For many years, our users have been asking us to introduce Stories to Telegram. More than half of all feature requests we receive are related to Stories. At first, we were against it because Stories is already everywhere. However, Telegram wouldn't be Telegram if we didn't listen to our users and innovate existing formats. That's why we will soon launch Stories in the style of Telegram," says Pavel Durov.
Stories will be placed at the top of the chat list. Thus, according to the developers, they will not take up much space and will be easily accessible.
It is also reported that users will be able to create captions for their stories, tag other people in them, and add content. There will also be powerful photo and video editing tools.
