The Apple AirPods Pro 2 headphones, unfortunately, will not get brand new sensors to track body temperature and heart rate.

However, Apple is already testing them in its prototypes. That is, such sensors, perhaps individually, will appear either in the AirPods Pro 3, or in a new version of the regular AirPods, which is less likely.
