The Wall Street Journal, citing its own sources, reported that Tesla plans to liquidate one of its offices in California, where about 200 employees will be laid off.
According to the newspaper, the company is closing its San Mateo office to cut costs. More than half of its staff received notification of dismissal from their positions, and the remaining part of the staff will be distributed among other offices of the company.
It is noted that most of the affected employees were involved in improving Tesla's autopilot.
