The Ethereum team plans to launch a new test network called Holli. This was announced by developer Tim Beiko of the Ethereum Foundation on Twitter:

"The plan is to launch Holli in late 2023. I'm hoping it will help sort out the problematic issues. I've made two suggestions and would like to hear from developers on how we could better approach this."

The new test network should improve the testing environment for developers and applications. Currently, there are two main test networks in the Ethereum ecosystem: Goerli and Sepolia.
