It is noted that the plugin code is in the public domain, but the company wants it to get official support and become part of the upcoming Godot 4.0.

The plugin, which is responsible for rendering on Godot using graphic API DirectX12, was created by an independent developer from Spain. Project code is available in GitHub repository, and can be used by anyone. But the company has gone further and submitted a request to include the plugin in the next version of Godot 4.0.

Implementation of DirectX12 support for Godot is compatible with the following platforms:

Microsoft Windows;

Universal Windows Platform (UWP);

Windows on ARM;

Microsoft Game Development Kit (GDK);

Xbox.
