According to The Register, Linux creator Linus Torvalds said that development of the operating system kernel had slowed down because his computer broke down.
Speaking to users on Sunday, Torvalds admitted that the process is going on, but very slowly, because he was forced to move to his laptop while waiting for new memory modules to arrive.
Torvalds is currently working on Linux kernel version 6.1. According to the paper, the Linux creator's main working PC is built on an AMD Threadripper processor.
