Comedian Alasdair Beckett-King jokingly suggested on social media that game developers make download bars move at an even rate. The latter responded by saying that the loading bar in games is almost always fake.
According to the developers, the reason lies in the perception of users, who may simply not believe that the downloading is uniform.
His words were echoed by Vlambeer co-founder Rami Ismail, who said that he too has made fake download stretch lanes.
