Microsoft has updated  the Microsoft Validation OS build with a lightweight Windows 11 distribution without an official announcement. This OS is not intended for the end user.

Based on a command line interface (CLI), Microsoft Validation was developed for hardware or software vendors, developers and technicians to help diagnose and fix problems. The Validation OS is loaded into a command-line environment for increased reliability in a factory environment and supports running Win32 applications.

Validation OS has implemented updated ISO images based on build 22621.1702. Microsoft has also previously released updated ISOs for the Moment 2 22H2 feature.
