OpenAI is considering  the creation of an AI app shop where users can sell customised AI models to other companies. Such a plan could increase the availability of LLMs and give OpenAI an advantage over competitors.

The plans were discussed at a meeting with developers in London hosted by OpenAI's CEO, Sam Altman.

Plugins for ChatGPT have not proved as popular, so the company is looking for other areas of development.
